It was cold, like super cold. no leggings so I improvised using stockings.. wierd I know, but... well it kinda works




Inside some cave.. I think it's the Jewel cave.. stalactite and stalagmites.. quite cool, peaceful, cold, damp, hahaha!

28th to 5th Sept 09 - Perth Trip

We did a perth trip, driving down to augusta...
The weather rocks,
The sea rocks,
The atmosphere rocks,
The wine rocks,
The food rocks,

This it TOTALLY the life to live...

Signed up for a 21k half marathon there (my first overseas running competition!)
Gotta say, regret that i didn't train.. The weather's so GOOD to run!!!!
But the slopes were horribly Nasty... i ran my worst 21km...
But it doesn't matter to me, cause at least i enjoyed the scenery... =p

And we saw the surf lifesavers practicing on scarborough beach!!!!
arghhh.. how i wish i had that kind of training environment...





And i see cars with surf skis on top on a good saturday morning!
OMG.......
I'm drooling... I felt like i'm some poor kid, walking into a candy store for the first time...

I need a better life

New Hobby - Geocaching!

Just found a new hobby called geocaching...
It's so cool to find treasure at the least expected places!!!

You gotta see the stuff i found.. so far found 2 caches...
1st cache : Little Guilin found on 23rd August 2009


2nd cache: Say Cheese! found on 24th August 2009
(This one was damn cool.. got a lot of travel bugs)


I'm SO gonna find more!!! damn exciting can!

Trainings.. the pain.. the joy

even though i complain about being tired
even though i complain about being shagged out

i still love the sport...

even though i complain my body aches
even though i complain about the time it takes up

i still love the sport...



even though i complain that it's stressful
even though i complain about how some ppl do and run things

i'm addicted to it,
like how a smoker needs his cigarettes,
like how an alcoholic needs his wine,

i'll never stop, permenantly... maybe off-season once in a while, but not forever.

how can anyone not love and appreciate the world of lifesaving.

Ladies and Gentlemen... It's finally over..

The last of the last still waters nationals competition for me.
I'll not ever, never ever, never ever ever going to be in teamA anymore.

Half-proud to say, that my rescue medley got 2nd! YEA! (From a tough chase of 4th back up to 2nd just by towing my guts out)
And our 4*25 medley once again got 1st!!!! double YEA!!! No.. make that a TRIPlE YEA!!! (Also from a tough chase of 2nd to 1st just by towing my bloody guts out..)

Guess towing really helped me to win it all..

And we got a 3rd for our 4*50m medley relay... awesome..

A gold, a silver, a bronze... not bad eh.. hehe

And the finale.. to be held on 15th and 16th August.. And i'm saying bye bye...

*suddenly feel a huge heavy stone in my heart...

NUS Invitationals 2009

Surprisingly... we won.... hmmmm..

but the highlight of the day...

4*25 manikin carry girls... 1st place.. NUS!!!
HAHAHA!! Finally finally got our long wanting gold...... it's been so long..... like the only medal which i really wanted.. 1.59... finally! 4*25 gold!!!


Ok.. i'm totally satisfied and contented.. (which shouldn't be the case cause there's still nationals.. hehe)

Ok.. yes.. i'm in geek mode right now..

But i seriously think it's fascinating.. get a ATV and Jet ski equipped with sensors and expensive equipment and wala.. you can have real time monitoring of the coastline, perfect for surfers, scientists, beach go-ers, etc.

urghh.. it must be SO satisfying to be doing all this stuff

So lazy now... no motivation to run nor swim anymore. Anyway, we managed to go arafura this year despite the h1n1 virus thingi thing... (a bit late to update.. cause it was in early May) But yar.. will update when i got pictures and stuff...

Sports Fever!!!

Was watching the winter X games on espn.

DAMN IT LOOKS SO AWESOME!!! I've watched X games before, skate boarding and rollerblading, but, whoa, snowboarding and skiing gives you so so much air, they fly so damn high, so much higher!!! Think it must be because of the snow, slippery and gives you hell a lot of speed


But... i think i'll still stick to hot climate, sunny beach tropical weather. Don't really like waking up and feeling all cold and needing to bunch up and put on a lot of clothes... haha

And well, i was watching superbowl 43 yesterday too. Ahhh, nothing much to talk about. Was looking through some of the commercials


How I would LOVE to vent my anger and frustration like that in the office.. hahaha
